Surely I’m not the only one who cried when Mama June and Sugar Bear walked their oldest daughter, Anna, down the aisle?! Honey Boo Boo has its haters, but I’m a proud Boo fan who appreciates this lovable family. Who doesn’t want to be a part of a family who expresses their love through emotions and bodily functions?!
Let’s talk fashion. I was pleasantly pleased with Anna’s dress choice. While many say Anna is the prettiest sister (I stand firm that Pumpkin looks like Jennifer Lawrence), Anna definitely doesn’t have the reputation for being the smartest sister. But her wedding look was well thought-out with her one-shouldered, floral-lace gown, country-chic cowboy boots, and gorg hair/makeup. Mama June on the other hand, what was up with the pants?!
Normally Mama June can do no wrong in my eyes. I can forgive the socks with swimsuit, the neck rust, and refusal to get glasses, but I can’t forgive the Mother-of-the-Bride pants. Hillary Clinton even managed to wear a dress on her daughter’s big day!
Fashion aside, the Honey Boo Boo family is supportive and loving. Sugar Bear is there to walk you down the aisle when you need him. Mama June will play X-rated bachelorette games when you need her to. And the rest of the sisters will watch your 11-fingered daughter so you can go on a honeymoon. Anna, you’re one lucky girl with a great family! Congratulations!
